If the Niners can't land Sean Payton, my sense is Bengals OC Hue Jackson is the name to watch. Worked with GM Trent Baalke in Washington.

Im not a huge fan of Hue after he threw his team under the bus, but as long as he has zero say in personnel decisions Im ok with him. he fits more as an OC imo tho.

ehh, i think hue is someone who learned from his past follies and can be a competent HC. and people want to hang that palmer trade on him, but he may have seen the potential for current AZ palmer when making that move, not his fault the team (talentwise) was complete shyt when he was at the helm and every acquisition back then never seemed to work with the raiders (the journey of moss to from MN to OAK to NE is still one of the most )

I wouldnt make that palmer trade even if it was palmer of today. it was a horrible trade as are any 'high picks for disgruntled qbs' trades. or even non-disgruntled qbs.

but with baalke alive and as a GM I dont think we'll see any kind of fukkery like that.

Ward played pretty well this year. Actually excited about him going forward. In fact, I hope they move him to Safety next season.

Disagree Jimmie Ward seems to have turned the corner, and I would like him and Eric Reid starting next season, and Armstead, although he was a luxury pick is going to be a disruptive monster if he keeps progressing as he is.

We all know Jed is a fukkboy. We all pretty much said that the only way Tomsula was going to get fired was if the team looked like shyt to end the season and fans and media went after Jed for the hire.

He's gonna do the same with Baalke if he fails with the coach and draft. People will (rightfully) bytch about Baalke failures and Jed will sack him to save face.
