Why was Mooch fired? Just retarded management and ridiculously high expectations. Feel like a lot of 9er fans are living in the past and like to romanticize it a lil too much. Like we didn't have stacked teams and never had disappointing seasons. Steve and Joe became superstars on their own and coaching didn't matter much. This is how ownership makes dumb moves. You can look at other great franchises from the past in any other sport and see how their past is their biggest enemy.

Jed is the epitome of this attitude. "We win championships here", "We win with class." How about we win enough games to make the playoffs first. We haven't won a championship since "whoomp there it is" was popular. Didn't ownership realize we were terrible for 8 years before Harbs got there? Harbs at least established a winning culture on a team that stunk for a long time. Hopefully Chip learns from his Philly mistakes and gets it right with us. The sense of entitlement some of the fans and ownership have gets annoying.
