I don't get wasting money to Adapt this and then completely cannibalizing the plot. The story was ready made to be a miniseries on hbo or something instead it's a disaster movie starring brad Pitt

Zombie Survival Guide should have been followed to a mother fukking T while making this movie.



same guy wrote WWZ...it lays the scientific groundwork for zombies and the ways to deal with them.


the story being told from the point of view of people AFTER it the zombie war...told by people from many different social, political, military, gender, geographical points of view is what made the book SO fukking good.

telling this story from one point of view is the biggest mistake.

the main character in the book who took all of the other people's stories said in the beginning that he tried to keep himself out of the story as much as possible as he could.

this was one of the first things he said...then they make a movie based upon a single person?

And from what I understand the author co signed the script saying it was great. So we shall see ...and it wasn't just the ending ...they rewrote the entire third act of the film.

I think the author cosigned the first script and not the one needing the rewrite. Regardless this is disappointing.
