Every woman in my family can cook gravy and they all have their subtleties. Grandma taught my mom and her 2 sisters, so my aunt's taught my cousins. We have like 5 gravys every year. All with their distinct qualities. So yeah there's mashed potatoes. And that gravy always is gone. Lil kids eating gravy sandwiches and shyt talkin bout "I don't want more turkey..." "You not finna eat a gravy sandwich! Your not poor, you better put some meat on that shyt!"
Not gonna lie though, I've been caught eating just bread and some gravy, I dip the bread in the gravy, not eat it like a sandwich and when I get called out "I finished the meat first (n/h)

Dressing is made with corn meal. Stuffing is made with bread. Maybe it’s different where you live.
Nah, i was just curious. That might be the case here as well. I was mostly just talking about people who act like they've never heard of one or the other.
