Not against each other, but against any boxer in their division's history (Floyd's case divisions).

Floyd vs prime Hearns/Duran/Leonard/Robinson/Whitaker/etc.
Lennox vs prime Tyson/Ali/Foreman/Frazier/etc.

Prime Floyd= 147-154 with a mega-fight build-up vs top competition.
Focused Lennox Lewis= Emmanuel Steward as trainer and looking for revenge level focused.

You would have to go with Floyd because prime Lennox still got KTFO against Rahman and escaped with a win over Vitali by the skin of his teeth.
Aside from a round or two, Floyd has been much more dominant in his prime years than Lennox.

Lewis........Floyd just has too much great competition against all time 147-154 fighters even though I regard him as one of the greatest fighters of all time

Floyd all day. Lennox Lewis at his best isn't a top 6 HW all-time imo....if he fights prime Ali/Frazier/Foreman/Jack Johnson/Mike Tyson/Evander Holyfield, he's done.

Floyd is arguably the best fighter ever at 147

Taking Floyd because of his defense, Lennox's chin can be suspect. Nothing about Mayweather's fight game is flawed or suspect since he's been fighting.

Really?

There are very few fighters who I can definitely see taking Floyd. The list is short. I could name at least 7 fighters that could take out Lennox, but I woulda struggle to find that many people for Floyd

Lewis

Just because of the height, reach, and sick power. Yeah his chin was below average, but it wasn't Khan or Seth Mitchell status and he's fought through adversity before so fukk it. Lewis always has that power to bail him out just like in the Bruno fight. Lewis would be an even fight with a lot of the great heavies due to his size and power. It's conceivable that he could spark dudes out early before they get to his chin similar to the Golota fight.

Picking Floyd was tempting though, but there's too many guns out there all time around 135-154 that I feel could give Jr. problems if not beat him. I feel guys like SRL, Hearns, Duran, Robinson, etc..beat dude hands down, but then you got the lower tier guys like Quartey, Meldrick Taylor, Terry Norris, etc.. that I feel on any given night could push Floyd to the limit if not win a close decision. He just has too much competition at those weights for me to pick him to win consistently. Sometimes it's not about the skill level of the fighter, but the style match up itself.

I think a prime :flabbynsick: could beat Lennox too. He would certainly give him a tough fight

Floyd hasn't faced a black fighter in his prime. I would take Lewis.

Y'all underestimating Lennox. He's a big HW with devastating power even with a suspect chin, and to be fair he was out of shape against Rahman in that first fight. A focused Lennox would give any HW of any era problems just from his size alone.

There's no way a prime Holmes beats a prime Lewis. Not at all.

I think Foreman probably has Lewis though.
