On everything the opening for Save Room sounds like it could’ve been the intro/theme music for a 60s show.
One of my favorite samples of all time.
Even Madlib did his thing on that sample.

Nah can't blame you for that, remember listening to that for the first time like wtf? When Evolver dropped...it was a wrap for dude. He just constantly kept making that Euro whiny bullshyt pop music, instead of that true R and B

Such a heavy departure from his prior sound. He was For a lil while bit Love in the future he came back.
I haven't listened to his latest one that much but I feel like it's in the middle of his discography quality wise.
Yeah its a little slow but it's still a good record. Bonus tracks for the most part areI heard Love in the Future was actually pretty alright. May give it a spin tomorrow.
Once again is probably my favorite JL album, aside from Love In The Future (yeah I think it’s underrated).. but the album isn’t THAT good to be considered top 2.
With that said. “Again” is a gorgeous ass song. One of my favorites from him.
Real!!! My favorite part of that song. John’s passion within the vocal delivery....I agree with everything you said.
And breh, that bridge on "again"
Damn I love you, but this is crazy
I have to fight you almost daily
We break up so fast
And we, we make up so passionately
Why can't we just trust each other
You can't hate me and be my lover
Passion ends, and pains begins, I come back...
*clutches fists*
and we're doing it again!!
I only like his first two albumsOP, you my dude and all but...
John Legend
Album was pure fukking fire. I used to keep Save Room, Heaven, Another Again, and Maxine in HEAVY rotation.
Even the outtakes/bonus tracks were good, even if they didn't really match the theme of the album.
