On Thursday, ESPN’s Bobby Marks reported that at least two NBA teams are doing deep dives into Rodions Kurucs’ legal situation, an indication that the 6’10” forward is on the block as the Nets seek to get down to 15 players by Sunday.

After starting 46 games and averaging 8.5 PPG last year, Kurucs has been an afterthought this season, shuttling back and forth from the G League. Over the summer, Kurucs was arrested following domestic violence allegations in a case that remains ongoing. Approaching the deadline, sources say that at least two NBA teams are spending resources to conduct a full background check on Kurucs to see if he is a worthwhile trade target.

Pinson should've gone, but I think this is the reasoning right here. When healthy those 2 would be fighting over the same limited minutes, and I'd rather play Nwaba.

I would be too, but NetsDaily seems to have connects and he's been floating this for a couple weeks now.

Makes no sense to me either. Its just been an odd year for Rodi. Kenny ripped him in preseason, then the allegations, and losing all confidence in his shot.

If they're gonna use Chandler, then there's no point in having Kurucs. I doubt they get anything more than the 2nd they used to get him in the first place.


As for Prince, giving him the extension before he played a game showed faith and maybe it showed foresight, but man, he's gotta show and prove because he'll be the reason Joe Harris ain't back

TLC has earned a chance over these past 2 games, and now Chandler back. Bench unit is slowly getting there. And if Rodi keeps working back in then its even better.

Prince is just too up and down right now, they have to keep working and get him to stop thinking he's KD looking for a contested 18 footer. But now Chandler can come in if Kenny needs to pull him and talk to him.
