On one hand, its frustrating to see this team still has issues with holding a lead

On the other, it shows how good this team can be when they start holding them

I don't know what goes on during halftime, but I feel like so many of these leads are lost in the first 3-4 minutes of the 3rd and 4th quarters. Like it takes them a few minutes to wake up and get back in the game, every single time

And again the offense goes into hero ball late in the game, which Kyrie is getting shyt for when that's been our late game offense the entire Atkinson Era. That entire DLo run last year was the same thing, except he caught fire and made it work.

Kenny has to start forcing these guys to run plays, twitter wants more Joe shots and I agree, but they gotta run sets specifically for him. It can't just be one or two attempts at the curl off a high screen at the top, the whole league knows that play since its the only thing we run for him.

How many times the past years whether it was kilpatrick, Lin , dlo or dinwiddie holding the ball doing hero ball late in the game we'd be complaining about it. Last year was the year where the supporting cast and PG had the talent level come together for it to work.Its something we been saying. Esp Joe needing more shots. They do need to run some more plays for him. Esp when we need a bucket.



Im still not worried. They'll figure it out. That defense is the biggest problem

Huge win, the Bulls aren't good but we got forced into a G League lineup in the 3rd quarter and they held the line and made that 4th quarter comeback possible.

Spencer got to be the #1 option again and he delivered, Joe again proving he needs to touch the ball more

I really like Musa as hes the playmaking and shooting guard we've been missing off the bench. Claxton too is the other big we've been missing.

We legit had almost an entire g league lineup in that 3rd.

That was some clutch ass FT shooting to end the game. If we had shot like that all season from the line we would probably be like 9-3 right now

Atkinson is too rigid in his ideology of small ball. It’s going to cost him.

When Durant gets back he has to play the 3 I don’t want him trying to D Giannis, Horford, JJJ, KP, siakam. Makes no sense. KD at the 3 is a mismatch in our favor.

Kyrie is a star but he has to change his game. He should focus on getting 12 ASts per game. Since he’s so iso heavy the offense stands and watches him. It’s stagnant.

Claxton needs more minutes. The kid has IT. He has all the tools to be a starting PF he just needs more weight and experience.

Kurucs is mentally crumbled. The court case and losing his starting job have him crushed. Remember he’s only 21yrs old. He needs to go to Gleague. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s traded especially when Chandler gets back. Shame cause I see him being a jerebko type player.

DAJ plays zero man defense. He doesn’t even box out anymore. That was a terrible signing at that price. Hopefully he warms up as season goes along.

Musa. He should be the 1st sg off the bench. Playing with Dinwiddie. Temple is horrible and has no upside. Bench him. Another bad signing.

Prince has also been a massive disappointment. He can't guard anyone. The injuries to our guards are one thing. But we get dominated inside by any competent big man.

The lack of improvement from guys like Allen and Kurucs has also been disappointing. If Kyrie/Levert miss a lot of games this year we're probably not making the playoffs.

Shoutout to Joe though who's always putting in work.

The 2nd unit isn't playing well for sure, but when you look at guys like Nwaba, Pinson, and Musa they were low cost guys who we didn't expect to be playing big minutes at all, let alone within the first month. And Musa will get better as he gets more burn, he's just gotta find his shot.

DJ is what we knew he would be, a good rebounder but he refuses to move out of the paint on defense. Outside of that I think he's been ok, Kenny just has to know when a matchup isn't working with him to pull the plug.

Allen has improved as the season has gone on, he's going to be fine. Kurucs is another story, he's lost all confidence in his game. They basically have to start over with him.

If we miss the playoffs, so be it. More important to come out healthy and knowing who are guys are for KD's first season. And with the new lottery system maybe we get lucky and move into the top 4 and get a nice bonus piece out of it.
