I read that EA and Aki actually locked up a deal to do another WCW game., with the WWF games being developed by Yukes going forward.
Nonetheless it was already 6 feet under by the time Vinnie Mac bought the company out. They turned it into Def Jam Vendetta instead

You mean Mayhem 2 or 2000? I heard people say it was going to have the AKI engine but I haven't seen anything in scans that could confirm it.

Yeah every other thing I've seen from the game only says published and developed by EA. It would help if we had actual gameplay footage.
