the original plan was for Goldberg vs Brock for the title with goldberg winning but bill didn't want to resign on top of this Brock also announced he was leaving so was kinda a perfect storm for Eddy

No lie this was a absoute shocker to me.. Because going in.. I was thinking Brock was gonna squash him..
Eddie had everything against him.. His height, his past, his race, he was WCW/ECW whereas Brock was EVERYTHING the WWE wanted so I was like man Lesnar gonna squash
him and move to Mania...
Then the match itself went down and I started to think.. Yo Eddie MIGHT fukk around and win it.... When he did.. That was one of the best feel good moments to see in my years of watching this
