Dave said he shouldn’t be out long. Of course that’s Dave so could end up being 2 years for all we know
A broken hand takes about 2 months to heal, so he'll be back by All In.

Also, the fact that they had him get taken out in storyline form instead of just announcing he was injured in his match signals he won't be out very long

Last one was about 2.5 months so hopefully it's shorter this time.
It probably will because they had a kayfabe way of getting him written off TV, so that way when he comes back they can insert him right back into the mix.

It took longer to bring him back from his foot injury last year because he while he was cleared, they needed to find a way to bring him back on TV.

Another solid episode. I liked how they bookended with the mixed tag and fallout and the little Swerve/Hangman interaction was great. Matches were all on point.

I've still got Swerve losing but I'm being more and more convinced he might win which is good graps. Could see Hangman coming down to screw Swerve having a change of heart and leaving down the babyface tunnel... Swerve still loses on some DR/Bloodline bullshyt... but maybe Hanger helps him win, then wins the Owen and they have to somehow make friends and go back to war within weeks?

Ospreay feels like the natural winner of the Owen, but I think him winning his first World Title needs to happen when they're back at Wembley.

So many places they can take it right now and I can't wait for the meltdown when the wildcard turns out to be Suzuki :skip:

Women's bracket is going to produce some absolute piff, it's just probably a bit more predictable. Athena in the main event in Texas makes way too much sense to not do it. She's not above playing dirty to protect Mercedes rep in a victory and it wouldn't be for any of her belts, so it'll be the first shot in a lengthy programme hopefully. :feedme:

I genuinely can't wait for Mercedes and Harley's tag match :mjlol::blessed:

That whole contract thing should never happen again.
Now that I think about it if Jay White is cleared in time for All In maybe they could do him vs Cole for the TNT Title, seems like a good match on paper and the two have history together, Switchblade first appearance in AEW was due to Cole calling him in kayfabe.

It's a first time ever one-on-one match between two high-caliber names on the roster, would definitely elevate the TNT championship having that match at All In.
