They canfight in May or Sept but fighting Wilder is a bigger money fight because Fox is behind him...period. No one cares if Ruiz and Whyte fight.

If he gets floored, so what. Lol. That's what happens when you face all time great competition and dont wanna hide. Joshua beating up old Povetkin while getting touched up instead of fighting Wilder w sd snt impressive but everyone gives him every pass in the book. It's stupid. It's silly. He practically ran from every Ruiz power punch in the rematch to save face..basically abandoned his whole style and Ruiz helped him by getting too fat for that match.

Wilder had excuses this time so if he loses big NEXT TIME? He deserves everything that comes with that fall. That's life.

Eh...Wilder was suppose to fight Povetkin too so let's not act like that wasn't scheduled to happen, Povetkin just to happen to pop dirty.

And AJ didn't run from Ruiz and all that, he used Ruiz weakness against him but make no mistake, when they fought at distance Ruiz was getting tagged. AJ just didn't sit in front of Ruiz like he did in the fist fight and now people acting like he was being Erisandly Lara vs Canelo on his bike Blame Ruiz for not knowing how to cut the ring off

That's cool and likely Povetkin would of been knocked silly.

Lucky for Wilder I think he can tee off on all these pbc heavyweights and beat them all
Maybe Ruiz has the skills to beat Wilder but who knows how serious he’d train for any given match
Kawnacki(sp) is cool and can take a punch but I don’t see anything special there beyond that
So even if Wilder gets trashed again by fury he has another 3-4 yrs worth of “pbc specials” to cash out on worst case

yep. Kowancki went life and death with Aerreola and #MillionaireMartin so i def can see Wilder sparking him. i'm with you Ruiz...Ruiz can trouble him if he can get Wilder to fight at his pace. But yea, he can't rematch Ortiz, Breazeale, Washington...there's really only Kownacki, Martin, Kauffman :mjlol:, and Ajagba who they DEFINITELY not about to throw in there with Wilder. He gotta get that belt back and go fight AJ or Whyte ASAP

Man it's good yall weren't around when fighters used to have tough comp yearly and actually took losses. Yall think someone's career is over after 1 loss.

It's not about 1 loss, it's the fact he's cherry picked and ducked opponents his whole career, had 1 fight against an elite fighter and got battered brutally. If he'd spent at least 20 of his 40 plus fights facing real competition it would be all good, people could say he lost this time but look at his resume, but he has a garbage resume, Luiz Ortiz is a decent win, aside from that pretty trash, and even Ortiz hasn't proved anything himself in pros really so that's questionable. Has spent his whole career ducking and dodging, has 1 real fight and gets destroyed.

Probably would have been like other Wilder fights...troubled a bit by Povetkin but then catch him and get him up outta there.
The juiced up version? Idk about that breh :russ:

Either way Povetkin had a better front foot game than anyone Wilder faced. Would have been a very interesting fight where either one could knock the other. Thing is though Wilder sucks boxing on the backfoot and make no mistaje about it, Pedvetkin woulda pushed him back.

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
Ok.....still doesn't change the fact he still aint banked a career earnings of what he could've made in 4 fights.

:dwillhuh: It doesn't matter.. It was a flat fee regardless if he beat AJ and became undisputed he would get paid the same money with no opportunity fpr back end revenue.. Thats stupid for a fight that big

Get offerer guaranteed 100 M for 2 fights... "Bu... but it's a flat fee :sadbron:"
They rather turned it down cause it woulda been on DAZN and his team won't let that happen.
Wilder and his team got what they deserved cause they got too greedy  They were thinking if he gets offered 100 million who knows how much they would get offered had he beat Fury :ohlawd:. Greed has cost them fighting for undisputed and the best possible money he can get. With Wilder I can even understand, he probably legit thought he would beat anyone in the world. His team (the part that are not stakeholders in PBC, like his trainers for example) should have been smart enough to go for the AJ fight first instead. Bigger money and (while I think AJ beats him) Wilder would have more chance to win that fight on paper. They fukked it up big time.

Wilder going forward can still make big money, if he wins the next Fury fight, if he doesn't he can still make some good money. But my argument would have been he should have taking his opportunities at the time, let's say he took 25 mil previously to fight Whyte, then 120 mil deal for the Breazeale mandatory and the 2 AJ fights then he's have 145 mil just off those alone. All of his other purse would have gone up too, so if he'd beaten Whyte when he had the chance it could have been even more than that cause he'd have kept raising his status, so he would have got more than he did for the initial Fury fight and way more in a rematch if it was undisputed.

If he was more bold he would have made a lot of money. He still could get mega money if he wins the 3rd fight or even get good money off other fights but he would be caking major if he was more bold and daring, his sponsorship and all that would have gone off the charts and he'd be legit 1 of the world's biggest sports stars. Now he's a guy who had 1 top level elite opponent and got destroyed and ducked all other elite opponents. If he'd of backed himself earlier and beaten the likes of Wlad and Vitali he'd be the man and 1 of the biggest stars in the world.

If he wins the 3rd Fury fight he will put himself back in the conversation for mega money but he could have done it earlier and made more. If he loses there's some good money but his value will decrease. I personally still find him entertaining in the ring so I'd enjoy watching him in a number of fights, but if he loses he won't be fighting Fury, AJ or Whyte for a while, and fighting Ruiz will be a great watch but he won't get paid as much.
