Breh, the average bm is not trying to get married in college, or right after. It’s not being irresponsible it’s being realistic. With each decade people are waiting longer to get married. Most are not in position to, let alone do they want to. So how are bw supposed to seek husbands in college, when the average bm is not on that, and when there are more bw than bm in college anyway? It’s men that do the proposing. A bw can’t make a man be her husband. What happens is that wm settle down earlier than bm, and numbers work in WW favor to begin with, but it is what it is.

This is not about bm/bw. This is about someone almost 50 having a kid. And career vs family. That other stuff is for the birds. Genetics are going to be an issue going forward.

Exactly. Putting aside the racial aspect, I think it’s incredibly selfish for any Male/female to have children when they’re in their mid to late 40s.

Women especially have been taught the myth that they can have it all, at the expense of their children.

I don’t have children yet but when I do, I’ll be damned if I’m an old ass parent. I want to be able to play with my children in my prime. Imagine being in your 60s by the time your children graduate? I would feel horrible knowing my children missed out my best years due to me being selfish.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t wait until you’re financially responsible before having children and I get not everyone has that luxury but... you can’t sacrifice having children young for the sake of your career. That’s why a lot of older men have younger wives. The former are the breadwinners while the latter gets financial security and can be a mother during her prime years.

I’m traditional so that’s how it should be for me. Imagine knocking up a woman over 40, let alone 50.

but I dont fukk with Glover. I find almost everything he does outside of Atlanta and Redbone corny and mediocre. And didnt care for him with a white girl I didnt oppose it just didnt care.
