I felt that Firing Squad angle was only to explain storyline wise why The Elite left Bullet Club and New Japan... and why Ishimori became the new "Bone Soldier". I thought Evil winning the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in dramatic fashion as he did would lead into the 2nd Bullet Club: Civil War with the Firing Squad (GoD, Jay White and Chase Owens) vs Evil and his House of Torture subgroup.... but I guess Covid stopped that from happening.especially since he was carrying himself like that for a while as Kenny was preparing to leave, and then that Firing Squad stuff....which, did that go anywhere?
