Lets be realty...most nikkas join frats to get hoes and for the attention. A lot of nikkas I know were lames before they got into the frats and took on the personas of the frat. A minority of nikkas did it because they looked up to prominent black men who were in them or their dad or bro was in it. Even then, getting hoes easier is part of the equation. Put it like this, the frat that got the least love from the ladies on campus had the least nikkas trying to join.

And you know what?..I actually have no problem with that...with those being the reasons...

My problem comes in when they try to equate that sh!t to some sort of upper-echelon act of community service and humanity, that they are somehow above someone who isn't needy enough to need to join a frat to feel as if they're someone. There's no "deep meaning" to being in one of them sh!ts, fukk that "secret society" sh!t. The only thing "secret" is the gay sh!t they make you do to join
They don't know ANY "secrets" that you and I cannot find. Friggin little 18-19 year olds acting like they've become some all-knowing being just because they dress like one another and hop around on stage like organized clowns .

I had a few friends in college that joined greek and band sororities, but it just wasn't for me. For me it felt like a lot of work and unnecessary bs just to make some friends. I wouldn't knock it though, there's something for everyone.

A frat is just a bunch of people that can't get shyt popping on their own. So they join other people who are just as lame and voila, you have a fraternity.
