Norfeast groovin…
My parents moved us to the suburbs :mjpls:

Technically I lived in the suburbs (downtown Silver Spring) but that shyt was such a dilapidated rathole full of homeless people and addicts that it ain’t really feel like it. Crack era fukked a lot of shyt up in these urban centers even the outlying areas felt it:pachaha:

shyt was way better than 90s DC tho, DC was fukkin insane in the 90s.

Villa Straylight.
I was 5 , we played outside a lot. Oddly enough I was told by one of my coworkers( who grew up in my area) that my older brother and his crew used to run the area we lived in so nothing bad really happened there. But people was getting killed and beat up around that time, yeah.

1991 was :sadcam:

That was the year they changed the plush 70s bus seats to the hard plastic because it was easier to wash the blood off :scusthov:

you'd go outside like

The first bush had those CIA connected death squads putting in work over that cocaine trade. It wasnt just 1991. There was a crime wave that kicked off since the late 60s with the civil unrest.. It was the 70s and 80s as well as those decades had cities like atlanta that broke crime rate records. Sadly a lot of those murder victims were black and it was mostly involving drugs.
