My question is does it get knocked for not having anyone black on the show, or credited for not throwing in a token?

I like the fact that it was just a straight up Boston bar with white folks livin white lives. From a tv show standpoint, it makes more sense, rather than having a brotha in a white bar randomly.

Nah that show didnt need a token or a black presence it was the 80s....he prob would of been more of a joke than Cliff

Taxi is my favorite old school sitcom though. Great cast, well written, plus fantastic music courtesy of Bob James. I even liked the griminess of the set.
