i think i just watched too many episodes of cheers growing up. so much that it kind of ruined my idea of the show. i remember i would watch them every night before i'd go to sleep on channel 11 wpix. after a while, they weren't funny to me any more. plus christopher lloyd's character on taxi was hilarious, better than any character on cheers...

they're both first ballot shows, it's more of a preference thing
sam malone, carla, norm, cliffy, WOODY, coach, diane (trying her best to hang w/the big boys) fraiser and lilith
breh's, that combination of characters (think about it before you dismiss it) was arguably the most rounded character ensemble ever in a tv show
cheers is underrated piff w/hash and hash oil on top.
