I can’t downplay how bad the dialogue and writing is. Within the first minute they had 2 unnatural forced lines about getting older and time. They got a rapper character in here called Mid-Size Sedan

That particular rock or spot on the island ages you rapidly. An hour there is a couple of years.
But the entire resort is really just a clinical trial testing ground for drugs that stop certain diseases.
Almost everyone there had some sort of health issue. So them being there was to test the effectiveness of certain drugs...the black lady suffered from seizures and since she took the drug once, they were able to determine that based on her lifespan they'd effectively cured that disease since she aged like 15 years in a few hours of being on the beach but only had like 2 seizures during the movie.

Haven’t watched this yet, but M. night should’ve slid this over to Ari Aster, he would’ve made a coherent chilling film out of this premise.
The trailer dialogue let me know that this was gonna be trash, so I sent it to my girl, who’s movie/tv taste is garbage, and she replies in all caps, “WE NEED TO SEE THIS!!”

All I needed to know I’ve only walked out of the movie theater once and this was in 2008 with the mark Wahlberg movie the happening which was one of this guy movies .since then I have seen no reason to watch any movie by this guy the happening was about being afraid of plants the most ridiculous shyt I’ve ever heard in my life. The dude is a bum,And the craziness of life and This guy has made several more movies and people from this thread like them crazy
