Jurassic Park. T2 is a classic, of course, but Jurassic Park changed the game for special effects in ways that are still relevant. And what's even crazier, it still looks great. The effects hold up today, whereas T2 looks more dated.

I remember vividly watching T2 at the movies when it dropped and sitting there absolutely stunned. My sister worked at the movies at the time and l went and watched everything for free back then. I saw this movie a good 8-10 times in the theater. Back then movies stayed in theaters for 3-4 months and this is where I was for the majority of the summer of 91. Hell I remember the hype before the movie even dropped they had specials on HBO back then talking about what the movie was going to be about without revealing some much shyt.

JP was cool and the effects are still amazing to this day but I was just feeling cyborgs and time travel more back then than dinosaurs.

Jurrasic Park was serious when it came out......you never seen anything like that before on camera......T2 was excellent as well....but from a more mature standpoint

I'm WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more terrified of T-1000 than i am of Raptors and a T-Rex.

JP was a revolution is sound design, but T2 was just piffery at all turns.....You knew shyt was bout to go down when t-1000 walked through them prison bars like

I wished I could have been to Jurassic Park, that island was so :ohlawd:

In the end though T2 was my thing.

Just the concept of a robot being a father figure/best friend/brother, always there to protect you, never slap or hit you; dying for you without a thought. :sadbron: The robot was the most humane thing ever exsisted, in the worst human world ever. It was the only thing ever in John's life close to a real father. It doesn't help that I love the Cyberpunk movies, but then at the end when he was stoic. "I know now why you cry... but it's something I could never do."

Dying to give John Connor a life without struggle, but with hope. :sadbron::sadbron::sadbron:

tough..i vividly remember both theater experiences... i'd say JP just because it has more replay to me and if i had to choose one to watch right now it would be that.

both classic though.still hold up today and the music on both movies is EPIC and memorable. visually still look good too.

I actually like the first terminator better than T2 to be honest, I mean T2 was the shyt when I was a kid but now that Im grown T-1 had Arnold catching serious bodies esp in that police station :ohlawd:

Jurassic park pushed CGI and animatronics in a direction that changed the game forever, just the scale of what they did with that:whew:.

I still want that park to exist today :to:
