I haven't been excited for a rap album since I was like 27-28 so maybe "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy"
MCHG and that was just excitement cause it was HOV

i made this thread because tonight when i was listenin' to npr and listenin' to jazz now more than ever has became a new "high" for me in the way that hip hop use to be
to be honest with y'all, the last album i was hype for i think was dilla's donuts
i had the advance a few months before the retail came out and the advance was only snippets so for months i kept that shyt in my cd player and car and enjoyed those 30 second snippets and it won't even all of the tracks, it might've been like only 25 of em'
but those instrumentals were and still are like a pot of gold to me

The hype for MCHG made it seem like that would be an extremely dope album and it ended up being one of the biggest disappointments of 2013.
