Meanwhile someone like patty mills turns into Jordan when playing in the Olympics but turns into jordache jeans when playing in America :dead:

I think there’s a lot of guys that just don’t get opportunities or on an extremely tight leash to be very good right away in the NBA.

With the NBA draft every year, there’s always a crop of young players coming in and a guy who might be good at 25-26 with development is basically out the league. Bruno Caboclo or Yabusele are better players than Damien Lee or Doug McDermott. Did you see what that nikka just did to Lebron and he can’t play in the NBA? nikka that’s crazy

I think with FIBA the game opens up more - there’s no “narratives” or “superstar calls” and stupid shyt like that in the NBA or the refs blatantly shifting the outcomes of games

Of course the best players are in the NBA but the NBA is a business product that has to generate billions of dollars. Every year the league is changing rules to “open” up the game and benefit offfensive players to get more eyes on the game. There’s none of that in FIBA basketball, it’s just pure hoops.

If the shyt was so cut and dry the US would be blowing out teams by 30-40 every game in every tournament but that’s not the case.

USA vs Serbia was better than any game of the recent NBA playoffs that was a snooze fest
