Joker is still amazing. But without that 3 he goes from lethal weapon to dangerous. Still great, just not unguardable. He just finished shooting 26% from 3 in the playoffs. And that wrist is often wrapped or in a brace on the bench. If he had his shot right, Serbia being up 13 going into the 4th would've been death for Team USA.
Even when he was shooting the 3 well, shooting those was always a last resort for him. Yeah having that in the back pocket late in the shot clock is nice, but he’ll still have defenses in jail playing 15 feet and in.

Nobody gonna be able to stay in front of Ja but he's gonna need to adjust to FIBA travel/carrying officiating, NBA lets him get away with ALOT
Definitely will be an adjustment but I think he’ll be alright. With this next team being the young guys I’d like to see us go the old route of having guys commit for years versus putting a team together in the last year. We need Ant/P5/Ja and Zion to have that chemistry. Obviously you take guys like Book and JT if they wanna return.

I will say this, 80s and 90s play was in play today and it said something to me.

Bron and Embid are the only ones that could play in the 80s, 90s against this brute energy. Just look at how AD play, Bam played, Derrick White played, Booker couldn't get to his spots, hell even Curry struggle against that brute energy on defense, and honestly, I don't see Curry doing all this for 82 games in the 90s

That brute energy from Serbia exposed these powder puff ass dudes. AD just looked sloppy checking Joker, just imagine him going against David Robinson or Hakeem in their prime, or a SHAQ? Hell no.

Bron not getting triple doubles in the 90s, his back to the basket game today was horrible, the shots he made were off balance, wasn't smooth or nothing. Not saying he wouldn't score, but he wouldn't be putting up 30 a game over an 82 game span

This game showed me that 90% of the NBA could NOT play against this type of energy.

Hell look at the other games and see how these players struggled against physical play.

The refs did NOT bail these dudes out at ALL.

Bron could not move them white boys on that team

I don't wanna hear about what these dudes would do in the 90s, I saw it TODAY and it did not look good

Take away KD height and he doesn't get to the rim AT ALL, He would be too small. 6'7, KD is not averaging 30 points a game.

None of these dudes would average 25 points a game in the 80s or 90s.

Just look at the box score on today's game and these were some average below average players playing somewhat of a 90s style ball

Thoughts?

These dudes would not last in a 82 game season in the early 90s AT all.

AD would not be able to hold Karl Malone at the 4 Imagine that shyt.

The debate is over with this 90s and 80s talk, I saw the shyt today.

You bring heat like that to these dudes and you see who stands out and it was only 3, Curry Bron and Emid and KD

KD struggle to get to his spots, his height helped him

Curry would struggle on Defense, GP or a bigger guard would take him in the post, they could be physical with him,

The refs let them dudes rough him up today.

Bron needs a post game badly smh. His middy would be tested, and he wouldn't be able to barrel through folks, He couldn't do it today

Embid would be too slow for a Shaq or Hakeem and David Robinson etc, I don't think he'll be doing a lot either.

Yall watch that game today and look in the score boxes and see how shyt looked.
