I'm a 80 baby and growing up on Saturday morning was the best in late 80s early 90s
Agreed. Had the shyt on Saturday mornings, plus real competition between wcw and wwf as far as talent. The games on sega helped as well.
I remember ultimate warrior and macho man but most of my memories come from the 90s. I missed out on most of early wwf because I didn’t have cable (USA channel) but during summers when I went to Atlanta we could catch TBS and wcw for free. The Saturday shows were the only free ones. Weirdos like Goldust and shyt but I saw a lot of future champs come up.
I remember when edge was with the brood and the corporation
The Bronco Buster and the Rikishi butt shyt was
Val Venis was a wild character and Godfather had hoes, shyt wouldn’t fly today
The black woman Jacqueline had her titties exposed in a PPV match
Watching Harlem Heat come up
they might be my favorite tag team ever. Or the Outsiders
I try to watch this shyt occasionally now but it’s not the same. They can’t do shyt for real in this pc culture. Bossman was pulling up on Big Show making fun of his dad dying. Eddie Guerrero was riding lawn mowers and Dudley boys were putting senior citizen women thru tables. shyt was epic.
Do they even still have the hardcore championship belt? That crazy mf Mick Foley had three personalities, cactus Jack, mankind, and another one, and this mf was freefalling onto thumbtacks and truly doing some savage shyt. Watching him get his ass knocked off the cage by undertaker took wrestling to another level.
they gotta find a way to push the culture again. 80’s-90s era would have a Trump set if they were today. Imagine Nation of Domination today
