I don't understand why he had to go. He was better than Perk and brought some real energy and effort to the team. I guess McGary is going to be just that good
Mcgary is going to be great. Sad to see sheem go though
Mcgary will get minutes collison will most likely sit some games and rest. Will mcgary get big minutes year one?
Can okc still use that 7 mil trade exception?
This dude Reggie is talking about these contracts that Hayward & Parsons got
If the words "max contract" come out of his or his agents mouth, then I ain't even going to be mad at all when we trade him.
He's not getting max. Maybe Darren Collsion type money, but no were near the max. Plus OKC can match any offer if they wanted to, and RJ is not a starting guard. They can simply trade him, but that would look bad on KD n Russ side. OKC needs another SG and a decent center.
He'll get more than Collison just got (as he should), just the wierd sense of ego Reggie seems to have that he thinks he should be in line with what Hayward & Parsons got rubs me the wrong way no homo. I hope we keep Reggie but it feels like he wants more than he is really worth on this team just like Harden. He needs to look at the deals that Isiah Thomas or Jeff Teague have & get comfortable with them unless some other team is willing to come in & way over spend on him, which given his positions depth & the fact a guy like Bledsoe can't even get a sheet doesn't seem very likely.
We're fine at center since Adams is our future there with Serge & McGary being able to also play minutes there. I'm not ready to throw Lamb in the bushes yet either since he did pretty good until around Febuary last season. Now we have Morrow to get minutes there too & Robes who is/was a project there but has decent potential if he can get a 3 point shot. We've got solid depth as long as they keep progressing & one of our main 3 don't get hurt.
