Not reading that shyt either, but based on the amount of effort you put into trying to son to me, I'm gonna go ahead and say :umad:
And with the amount of effort you put into lying about not reading it, I'm gonna go head and say You Lost!!! :lawd:

You can act all high n mighty if you want. I used to. And to be honest, its not like I ever told them "Yo, you CANT get this... let me just download it for you"

You know we gamers n shyt. So I game alot, and my kids as a result are young gamers themselves. They prefer the Wii and Kinect. Wii and Kinect games are as easy to download as music is these days. Whaddaya expect :ehh:
Speaking of which, I got a request recently to download Lego Batman 2
Don't you wish your dad would do shyt like that for you? I wish I even had a dad :sadbron:
Daddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddy
Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhy :damn:

EA will lose a lot of money by doing this...

All of suburbia might not see this as a problem but I know a lot of cats that will still want to buy hard copies of Madden who don't exactly have the best internet connections or are on capped plans.

They're basically cutting out a lot of their consumer market by doing this...

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
The debate was never IF it would happen. Yes in 20 years we expect everything digital. Who wouldn't see that coming

The debate was people saying the NEXT GEN OF CONSOLES would be 100% DD. and as we look in the crystal ball, that shyt ain't happening. But the next one after that. I could see it

the next gen will probably take discs. but I predict they will be pushing Digital Download aggressively. probably every game will be available in either format, and maybe even cheaper via DD

and here we are...

This.

The majority of Americans don't have high-speed internet yet. Going full-download would only serve to limit the audience that game developers can cater to.
^^^ And this fagggot had the nerve to talk about a business model to Courtdog :bryan: ^^^
Two things...

1.) So they are not doing this now with physical copies? And isn't digital downloads like STEAM the leading way people on PC's get games? And the prices, they about half the price of there physical counterparts.

2.) You could of saved some bandwidth by just posting this http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f3/Tin_foil_hat_2.jpg

This guy again  Look retard, this isn't about the majority of americans. Its about gamers. The majority of gamers have high speed interent. How do you have a next gen system and no internet?
See, your logic is flawed. These 3rd world americans you speak of are not thinking about a xbox720. The iPhone isn't worried about if some kid in a ghetto somewhere can't afford it. Sony dropped the ps4 at $600
You think they was thinking about this group of imaginary people you talking about? See, you guys don't want the future to come, so you make up bullshyt and call it fact. Fact is this stuff isn't catered to the poor.
And as these devices become more and more hi-tech? Internet access has already been a must for close to a decade now. fukk outta here if you think we not gonna move forward anymore. shyt, you can download pretty much every game NOW. Most games hit retail, then the digital copies become available months later. This is on Xbox/ps3 TODAY.
Then I just posted how EA says that what, 67% of all there game sales is via Digital Distribution and that tells it all.

Or you can listen to BlvdBrawler :troll:

No, there is no difference downloading a $2 song or a $60 game.
You still need a credit card. Thats it. Only difference is $58
You seem like you are afraid to spend that type of money. Sounds like a personal problem to me :yeshrug:
(Story Tru)
Yeah, lets talk about business model. Nintendo fooled gamers into thinking they was getting a new system. Basically gave them a wii with a new controller
Flipped the whole game upside down by saying "We gonna release a last gen system this gen"
The gimmick is what sold, not the system. The motion controller is what the entire business model was based around.

But you guys keep talking about business, sohh then. What ended up happening to the Wii? Well, most gamers abandoned it. Then they had to abandon the system early AGAIN. Just like they did last gen with the Wii
The majority of core gamers will say they are done with Nintendo altogether.
The Wii-U had extemely lackluster reviews at this E3 2012

You still talking to me about business model? You probably still like Reggie and his kick-ass-taking-numbers line. So anything that comes out of that bullshytters mouth is probably gold to you? Wii is a joke, nintendo is dying FAST. And to really put things into perspective, Xbox passed the wii in sales almost a year ago. So Microsofts model is the best now, and going forward has the brightest future.

Your comment about nintendo's lackluster digital download sales?
They didn't offer anything but wii-ware & VC titles, so your just adding bullshyt to the equation. What you should of asked was how do the digital sale compare to wii game physical sales. You wanna know the answer to that?
I don't think you wanna know the answer to that. Why don't you go do this.
Go pull up the physical sales of wii-sports, wii-fit.. shyt like that. Point out how those 3/4 titles sold thru the roof. And ignore the fact that pretty much every other physical copy game flopped in grand fashion :ohhh:

But know, I wouldn't know anything about a business model (the nerve of these delusional visionless fukkers)

Thats all you want. But that was never the subject. So you just exposed your true intentions there.
Thats what you want. Cool, but the majority of games will be downloaded next gen. :win:

:damn: Courtdog is too damn accurate with his info, is he ever wrong?

i love digital downloads. i love steam. the fact that i can just buy a game, dl it and be playing within an hour without leaving my house is ridiculously convenient.

the biggest thing that worries me about services like steam is..

what happens to my games when steam shuts down?

do i really own the games? or am i renting them until the service is no longer available?

and yeah, valve is doing great.. steam looks like the future. but much bigger companies than valve have failed in the past. same with ea.. but origin is a piece of shyt compared to steam.

even if they announce that they're shutting down, giving you a chance to dl EVERY game you own.. once you format, it's over. it's all gone.

there are other problems.. like used games and not being able to let your friends borrow games.. like on steam, even if i own both skyrim and cod.. i can't play skyrim in 1 room while my brother plays cod in another even though i own both games.

Well on Xbox One that won't be a problem. Your brother can be in China!
And BOTH OF YOU can access your entire game library AT THE SAME DAMN TIME :blessed:
You can have up to 10 family members doing this, but only you and ONE other member can be in an online game at the same time.

People on this site see that, but we in a console war so its been spun into a negative :manny:
If nobody is mad, you not doing it right :takedat:
