In terms of the sexually immoral themselves, the question is repentance. Are they repenting the behavior or affirming it? And obviously there were people in the church who repeatedly messed up, who repeatedly fell, but are they truly seeking repentance afterwards or have they embraced their sin? Even the guy in Corinth who slept with his father's wife, while being strongly condemned by Paul and forced out while he was in his behavior, was eventually let back into the congregation after he cut it off and showed true repentance. And I'm talking about actual sexual immorality - while inappropriate clothing is something that might need to be discussed on an individual basis, to put it on the same level as adultery would be ridiculous.

In terms of the children, of course, they should never, ever be judged, rejected, or condemned due to the morals of their parents. To force children attending a school to have their parents pass a moral test would boggle my mind. Apparently some schools think that is par for the course, I have no idea where they got that from.

I agree with what you posted above. In a previous post though you said premarital sex wasn't adultery and sort of implied that it fell in line with Christian values. I pointed out that it doesn't.
