Yeah I know, but you're usually more academic and surgical with your sonnings...Even when I disagree with you I'm in awe with the articulate delivery and poignant observations...

This was more Glenn Beck/Michael Savage than Irving Kristol/ William F. Buckley Jr.. That's why I said out of character...

:smugfavre:

I agree. He usually takes a more cerebral approach.

This thread :mjlol:

I just love the fact that a certain amount of these stans were so easily duped.

I mean Nas is the greatest of all time, someone no one can match in your mind and you got took in so easily by a chubby white/Puerto Rican guy...writing and making up theories as to why the goat would rap under this new mysterious alias etc only to be disappointed.. some were still in denial too haha.

Wait....
is Droog that guy Stu that would write down rap lyrics in the style of Nas and other rappers on these sort of message boards ?

:lupe:
Can somebody break down to me who Droog is and what he has to do with Nas? I'm legit clueless about what folks are talking about here...

That verse was triddash breh

:russ:

You taste like banana cake/you shaped like the number 8/and you my #1 candidate...

You have to understand how much I fukking loved Nas at that time, fam. I would've fought anyone who claimed he wasn't a genius. I remember watching this video for the first time and I dead ass exchanged a look with my cousin for a full 10 seconds of mutual confusion.

someone who put an EP out that sounded and spit his rhymes kinda like Nas circa Illmatic.
people went crazy thinking it was Nas..they pitched his voice to prove it etc but turned out they were duped and it was the guy in the picture in the original post.

Listen to Free Turkey by him to get the gist of it.

the threads make for some :scust: reading but are more funny now that the truth is out there.

I disagree. Again...what were you dudes expecting from a Mariah Carey remix with Joe on it?

At that time? I was expecting Nas not to be on the song. It's like asking "what were you expecting your mother to do at the glory hole when there were 16 dikks behind the wall?" I guess I expected ma dukes to keep her ass at home, because no good could come of that situation.

Stop it...nice, simplistic verse that fit well with the song

A thug's dream wife, Jeans tight
Beautiful skin,Matching brown tims
Hot as jalapenos,She knows how to hide the ninos
The rap Rudolph Valentino
In thief I become the black Al Pacino
Relax sweetie and [...] you can watch the TV
Lay back and pump Mariah's hot CD
And I'm a touch you in the wrong places
We could walk through a park
In Bubble North Faces
I'm lost in your love
Thank God I found you
You my crown jewel
I'm saying boo
The type I give my last name to
And lover's lane
Put the top up
When it start to rain
In the parking lot
Then we finish doing our thing
Fog the windows
Getting very sentimental
Sipping cosmos
With the cherry in the middle
I keep it honest
Word to real
That's my promise
Signing off
Truly yours
Nastradamus

Sorry to break it to you, bro. Credible rappers were making songs with pop/R&B acts WAYYYY before Nas and after Nas. Sorry he broke your heart. It is what it is.

The funny shyt is I mean Big Things, not Big Girl. That was by far, clearly, the first moment when I began to understand Nas stans were insane. song was laugh out loud horrible, and there were dudes who were trying to say it proved Nas was DA GAWD M.C.

I actually just threw it on just now so I could have a big ass smile on my face while I make lunch. This beat is as bad as his double-time rapping and lyrics, it's unreal.

That voice he had on "I Can" :mjlol:

I'm disgusted and flabergasted that "I Can" was his biggest hit.
