Naya Rivera is no longer on the Columbia Records roster, multiple sources have confirmed to Billboard.com. The Glee star signed with the label in 2011, and did not release a full-length with Columbia.
The 27-year-old, who plays Santana Lopez on the hit Fox series, was one of the first Glee actors to land a solo record deal, and announced plans to begin work on an album in summer 2011. Last September, "Sorry," Rivera's debut single featuring then-boyfriend Big Sean, was released; the song did not chart on the Hot 100 and has sold 34,000 downloads to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Meanwhile, rumors persist that Rivera has been fired from "Glee," which is winding down its fifth season. Although a rep for the singer/actress called reports of her firing "absolutely untrue" to The Hollywood Reporter, other reports have claimed that a feud with co-star Lea Michele has led to Rivera's permanent dismissal.
Since "Glee" began airing in mid-2009, its cast of rising young talent has struggled to get their respective solo projects off the ground. Lea Michele's debut album "Louder" was at long last released in March, and has sold 87,000 copies to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Other "Glee" cast members, including Darren Criss and Amber Riley, are still prepping their proper debuts.

There's only room for one "Glee" diva, and apparently it's Lea Michele.
Naya Rivera has been fired from the FOX series days after an initial report of an on-set feud involving the actresses surfaced, sources close to production told the Daily News.
Rumors of a rift between the actresses began to swirl earlier this month, with a "major altercation" coming to head on set April 15, Us Weekly reported.
But it appears Rivera's disagreement that day was with producers, and Michele's name was caught in the crossfire.
"She went off," a source told The News about the on-set spat. "But it had nothing to do with Lea."
It was reported that Rivera was "jealous" of the attention on her Broadway-trained costar. Now it appears producers have had it.
Rivera has been "written out" of the season 5 finale, and will not return for the next season, PopWrapped first reported.
"One costar would not have any power in whether another returns to the show," the production insider told The News, dismissing rumors that Michele had a say in the matter.
Rivera's rep issued a statement later Tuesday addressing the claims, and denying she had been fired.
"Any reports or rumors circulating that Naya Rivera was let go or fired from 'Glee' are absolutely untrue," the statement read, obtained by the Daily News. "End of story.”
