Venasaur couldn't get on a diet for it's mega form, still the most of the original trio.

Venasaur was that big because he was packing heat. Not too many pokemon really want to see him crank a solarbeam during a battle.

....but why? What are they doing? I wouldn't mind another adventure where you can travel all the worlds instead of all these weird evolutions. They clearly bit digimon with the mega evolutions being triggered by the watches.

Mega evolution is a bad idea IMO. Too gimmicky.
