People hate anything new to be added to their childhood. It's that simple. I have never stopped playing Pokemon and I was 9 when it first got popping. So the new Pokemon have never been a big deal.

The show is without a doubt, worse. I wish they followed the manga from the beginning.

One Piece just hit its "half way mark"

the thing i hat about Shounen is that its perpetually ongoing and excessively long. How the fukk that shyt been going on since 1997 and is only "half way" to completion? that's pushing 16 years. the people that started reading One Piece as kids are likely adults now and will be in what their 30-40s by the time its finished?

as for Pokemon its rubbish. its been going on for too long and they just keep adding more and more of them. that and the fact that they will probably never make an MMORPG of it.

Eh, I wouldn't really put OP or Naruto in the same category. It's clear that they HAVE endings, they're just long. Kishi has already said we're getting close to the end of Naruto. The funny thing is that One Piece was originally only going to go for five years.

Something like Pokemon was never really supposed to have an ending in the first place, it just exists to sell merchandise.

My nikka, what are we really talking about? A video game based on monsters who battle. You act like there is some history or base material that this series is supposed to draw from. How are they fukking up exactly, cause they aren't all animal-based? People getting aggy over gears like Magnemite never existed. Porygon, Koffing, even y'all precious Char's, all based on shyt that's inanimate, based in fantasy or concepts that flat out made up.

But it was cool then, lol.

dawgs its not even the nostalgia, it just that the new sprites are UGLY you really gonna sit there and tell me new starters can fukk with the old school ones? bulbasaur, charmander, squirtle = all reptilian goons.... the black and white starters? a pig that knows karate, a fukking otter with a samurai sword and a snake with legs, the charm is lost man... like with every classic cartoon the downfall was trying to make it 'edgy' when its some kid shyt the trainers in the new one are fukking hipsters and goths
