Me. I also cried when Butterfree left to go make babies with that pink Butterfree.
I was mad as shyt when he let Pidgeot go though. Pidgeot was probably his trillest Pokemon.

Word, Ash stay letting his Pokemon go. Told Pidgeot he'd come back for him and never did. How you gonna let go of one of the 1st Pokemon you ever caught? I think he caught Caterpie 1st and Pidgeotto 2nd. Ash also gave away his Primeape after he won that tournament.

donno if anyone talked about the first pokemon movie. I remember seeing that shyt in theatres with my dad and being so fukking excited. this part in the movie:still gets to me.

I was indifferent about the prospect of Ash leaving Pikachu. I always felt like Pikachu was holding him back and was sort of relieved that they might part ways. I mean you can't be taken seriously rolling through to the Elite Four with a level 70 Pikachu.
Pigdeot and Primeape though, those losses hurt the most.

Pokemon was so live then. I remember the theater was packed and getting some Pokemon cards just for coming out, only to trade them away by lunch, for a kids Jamaican beef patty. Those were the days.
