If your usuage is going to be high like Luka and Harden expect high turnovers for Cade. It’s not a good thing but context does matter. Here’s the thing that’s differentiate the turnovers that Cade commits compared to Harden and Luka. Harden and Luka were high foul drawers.They drove the ball a lot and played a physical brand of ball, so they committed more offensive fouls than usual. A lot of their turnover were the result of the them giving up on the play because they could believe they didn’t get the whistle. Harden was always good for at least 2-3 turnovers like that nightly. Highly frustrating.
Cades game doesn’t get the whistle like that yet. He gets a lot of turnovers onthe perimeter that leads to transition points. and he also gets his turnovers in bunches. He be having those 5 turnover quarters with like 5 in one quarter. As he garners more attention and respect from Silver and he gets more talented teammates to play with, those turnover numbers will go down. Cade will probably improve to like 3.5 turnovers a game.
