detroit gotta lifetime contract cade HA*
Shouldn’t be an issue keeping Cade. They have his it’d right and won’t hesitate to keep him. But inthe future, they will have to make decisions around those other lottery picks. It was interesting reading comments for a video about the Thompson twins that came out after lebron and Cade made their comments about them. They’re going to get paid but the interesting conversation I saw was Houston fans deem Amen untradeable and know he’s going to get paid. Some Pistons fans are still with wait and see approach with Ausar. That’s crazy

He’s everything you want out of a modern guard

Backcourt of him and Ivey got real potential of being the best in league..

Ausar at the 3 ain’t quite on his brothers level but he’s still a problem defensively at the least and Holland already showing he gonna be a problem but the question is he a 3 or 4…

Real talk Detroit got good problems:obama:

i think ausar can be reasoned with

the twins seem like they are not money hungry

so understanding having a role & developing long-term continuity with a real deal floor general in cade is the right move

That's because Amen has had a season and a half to develop and show what he can do on the court, and with real coaching. Ausar started off his rookie year out the stratosphere defensively, them when he came back from an injury Monte glued him too the bench. And then the bloodclots ended his season and off-season of any contact basketball. There point is they are at 2 different points in they're development right now. So of course the fans would see them differently in terms of value to the team. One has lost almost a half season of development. There's still plenty of time for him to show his worth before contract talks are serious though. I think if he's used similar to how he started off last year, them he's almost irreplaceable. Both their defensive instincts are crazy, but I can still see the rust with Ausar.

lol yall blaming Monte for a lot of shyt. I understand the Monte angle but we had Silas longer than yall had Monte. Silas wouldn’t even even start Sengun until Stone forced his hand by trading away Wood

But back to Amen and Ausar. Last year they payed the same amount of games. Ausar averaged more minutes. This year Ausar started the season on the injury report but he’s been penciled inthe rotation regular since returning. Ausar also has more career starts than Amen. Houston fanbase knew Amen was an untouchable last season. I didn’t come to that stance until this season mainly because he was being called the pg of the future and I didn’t see and I still don’t. I want him here long term but as a wing, and secondary facilitator. See what I’m saying. Like with the twins i feel like I know what what we have and expect of Amen now. We know his strengths and his weakness which helps us determine his floor and ceiling. Now with Ausar , if you’re still unclear about those details for him then fine, it’s fair to be undetermined about his future I guess. But watch some of yall and I see what I see with Ausar. Elite atehlte and perennial future DPOy candidate. I can be wrong but I don’t feel like he’s going to elevate the offense like his brother. Coming out of the draft the talk was he was the better defensive prospect and amen was the better offensive prospect. Neither will ever be kockdown shooters from the perimeter.

No, I'm a Pistons fan who payed close attention to the team. I'm not trying to outdo you in the misery Olympics so how long y'all had Silas had nothing to do with what I said, especially when talking about players that were rookies last year, when Silas wasn't involved with either team. And I wasn't trying to compare minutes either. Just overall development time. Not being able to do any basketball activities is gonna slow down development, regardless of how much time he got in the season.

I'm like you where I can see how a player with Ausar's physical tools and defensive instincts could have him being truly special on that side, but some fans need to see it before they can believe it. Ausar came back on a heavy minutes restriction and had been brought along slowly until more recently with Ivey going down. He's starting to put his defensive stamp on games now like the last game vs the Knicks. Plus they're starting to win games and football season is winding down. More fans will begin to take notice after the Lions high comes down, after the super bowl of course :pachaha:

Deandre Ayton is one of the most skilled bigs with a complete offensive game. Duren will never be that

Yeah he needs to be more like Capela or Harenstein....He's pretty much a less springy Drummond from what I've seen...

meh, Ayton took a step back this year and their splits are identical

they also both get most of their buckets closer to rim (67%) Jalen Duren Shot Chart Career | StatMuse

hell, even last year, Duren pretty had the same stats as Ayton lol. Their skill sets are similar for bigs that don't take as much further jump shots

So you have never watched duren and Ayton play. You just look at stats. Got it.
