I don't use that dumbass site to rate shows... So I didn't know that being rated 33 times meant shyt especially with a new show that's going to almost always have more ratings or reviews than an old one when comparing the current seasons

And now TWD sucks every year because it receives less metacritic ratings but yet it's still critically acclaimed, still winning awards, and still getting monster ratings

The only reason FTWD got ratings was based off the love people have for the OG show regardless of ratings have dropped over the years (which happens eventually to every show)

The ratings for FTWD have dropped PER EPISODE according to those in the OG thread. But yeah, keep talking about a slow burn

The show is showing the beginning. It doesnt NEED that. Twd has had plenty of episodes with 0 or almost 0 zombies. The zombies are just background noise,they always are in zombie shows. Its about the people and how they adapt to the situation they are in.


You sound like have adhd or you just dont really get the point of any of the shows and all you want is zombie chaos and seeing one on the screen every second.

the show was pitched as.... "watch the beginning of the outbreak"

the showed the first 3 zombies.... showed 2 minutes of a riot... and skipped the entire fall of humanity, and went right into "i think this area is safe.... wait no it isn't" mode already

the first 6 eps should have been those first 6 days.... season two could have started with the ho hum, stuck on the base shyt

Im not even saying the show is that good,it isnt. Its like a 7/10 so far. Its passable.


But the last 4 seaaons of twd have been 5/10s and the show is boring and repetitive.


So much so last season was the first season I just let them collect on my dvr and waited until the season was done. This season Ive taken it off my recordings Im done with it.


If ftwd doesnt improve in season 2 Ill be done with it too.

Going to have to completely disagree with this post.

First of all, FTWD is complete trash. Like Dawson's Creek of zombie movies/shows, no one gives a fukk about their family bullshyt while naively being some of the last living few surviving a zombie apocalypse (miraculously).

TWD IS supposed to take itself seriously.. It's based off a violent and serious graphic novel. It slips here and there but is easily the best zombie franchises of all time... EASILY. And Michonne, Morgan, and Sasha are FAR from p*ssy... Easily 3 of the shows toughest characters. Despite Bob being a drunk he went out with respect and I disliked how tame they made Tyreese but he was still better than most characters that's been on the show.

Znation started out a joke of a show on the bullshyt SyFy network but somehow turned out to be really entertaining and dope storie spins and twists. it still doesn't take itself serious (killing a zombie with a fire extinguisher???) which is why it works. TWD doesn't have situations nearly as absurd and comical as Znation so it shouldn't be compared only other than entertainment.

FTWD isn't even in the same breath as the regular WD.. Just go to their FB page and read the comments, the shyt is getting blasted for dumb characters, black casts dying, boring content, etc.

it's too early to judge FTWD but outside the fact brehs can't seem to survive more than an episode it's been promisingpersonally i find the family more interesting than the cast of the original show cause of the points already established....was it taking itself seriously when that Mexican gang banger militia Ricks crew got into beef with one of the the early seasons turned out to be misunderstood thugged out nurses whon only wanted to take care of sick old folks at a nursing home or when a middle aged abused wife turned Laura Croft and single highhandedly took down a well defensed compound ran by sadistic cannibals.Michonne was more interesting as a mute...when she tries to bond with Ricky Redneck and little Carl it comes off forced and mammyish..Morgan is a recurring chacractor whom has only been on a few episodes..Sasha has been acting nutty and like a liability the last few episodes you mean the same Bob whom couldn't even look the dirty hillbilly in the eyes/kept his head down while being threatened with physical violenceTyrese big dumb submissive buck was the worst character on the show since T-Dawg

yeah i watched Z-Nation with low expectations was pleasantly surprised...the shows are very different but from an strictly entertainment standpoint i maintain my positoin

I would say TWD : Z Nation as GTA : Saints Row That's the closest comparison I can make.
