It also doesn't help matter that everytime "they" are on screen now, it either involves their relationship issues or religion. There's no layers to the character whatsoever and makes them so bland and boring. At least give the character some personality or other storylines outside of trying to define who they are.

Yeah.

A lot of writing nowadays is just trying to hammer shyt home, instead of it being part of the story.

I'm not saying what makes someone unique can't be a theme and part of their character arc, but when ppl describe woke, Young Justice is the first thing I think of.

Cram as much shyt into the story, damn the story.

Make cool, good shyt and ppl will follow.

I'm praying someone reigns the writing in or this shyt gets cancelled.

It's not even about an actual team any more

Halo being non-binary makes perfect sense for the character. They're not 'really' a human girl, they're a motherbox inhabiting a dead girl's corpse. It makes sense the character wouldn't understand gender and religion in that case, and this is the same shyt these nerd shows and comics always do when they want a non-binary character:

"Oh, they're actually an alien from another planet that has no concept of gender!"
"Oh, it's actually two people who share the same brain, so you refer to them as they/them because you're really talking about both of them!"

Of all the things wrong with the last two seasons, Halo being non-binary is the least of this show's problems. :unimpressed:

I saw on TV Tropes that M'gann's arc could be seen as a trans allegory. Now that is some grade-A horseshyt. :unimpressed:

It makes perfect sense, but her and BB storyline's have taken up so much screentime that could have been devoted to other characters and aspects of the show that seems to drop from one season to the next. The OG team was supposed to be the focus of this season, but you wouldn't know that from watching it. Even Nightwing is getting overshadowed in his own arc as what happened with Kaldur and Rocket.

The show has been long overdue for a spinoff.

Yep, there can be a ton of spinoffs for this show.

*Legion of Superheroes spinoff.
*YJ General Zod vs Jor-El (Superman's father) spin-off. This would be a prequel series taking place before Krypton was destroyed.
*Outsiders spinoff.
*YJ Green Lantern spinoff.

That's a bunch of spinoff material lol. WB/DC ain't gonna do sh!t though.

These characters don't learn for shyt. This is now the third season Nightwing, Kaldur and Artemis have pulled the "Let's go on a secret mission that will probably blow up in our faces once the people we're keeping it secret from find out." :snoop:

Black Lighting appearance in the end credits. Glad we spent the entire third season on his story arc for him to get his first speaking role this season in episode twenty-three. :unimpressed:

I agree, but I feel like that's a consequence of this four-part arc format this season. They should have had a couple of one-and-dones in between the arcs for things like the Halo and Beast Boy subplots. Those should have been their own episodes because they ruin the pacing of these arcs.

Honestly, if the show comes back for season five this needs to be the last hurrah for the original Team. This show has been starting to turn into Degrassi in its later seasons, where the cast is so bloated that they struggle to focus between the season one cast, the newer characters, and the OGs and storyline and characters disappear for episodes at a time.

And this season has really emphasized that the Team has drifted apart and don't have the same connection they did in season one. It's time for them to pass the torch to the actual young heroes in this universe.

For the most part, they've done a decent job of wrapping up the arcs for the OG team even if you could argue that some of them like Rocket and Kaldur didn't really have storylines that need to be resolved. It's still a few aspects that they didn't resolve like what happened with SportsMaster and Kaldur saving his pops from the SS, but that can be resolved with mentions in the comics.

The one blatant storyline that they really need to resolve is the situation with Wally and how they throwing feelers out there to question whether he's still alive or not, which I'm guessing is going to come into play these last few episodes in the Phantom Zone. If the character isn't coming back, then they really should stop mentioning him in the show as all it's doing is giving fans false hope especially when people thought the storyline was resolved last year.

Man it’s been a nightmare trying to post. I ain’t feelin these new updates but anyways..

All I’m waiting for is

Zod vs Superman
Batman and Nightwing to discover Jason Todd
Darkseid vs Savage part whatever
Flash revival

They’re dragging getting to the last 2 things I’m anticipating. I’d love to see their take on Brainiac.

If another season gets renewed, I prefer the writing to go back to how it was season 1-2. I wanna see more of the characters that made me want another season for so many years. I don’t gaf about cats like Forager.

What’s Deathstroke been up to? Luthor? I ain’t seen no Light meeting all season. What’s Ra’s doing since he gave up the LOA? Has Darkseid spoken a word in an episode of any season yet? They got y’all GL series fans hyped on Razor.. okay, is he gonna appear again? Cuz us BL fans got hype last season like a poster above said and my man’s didn’t show up again until the credits of a later episode

Razor will be back as one of the trailers showed him vs Lor Zod at some point. Honestly, that’s likely going to be the biggest fight we get at this point as its not enough time left to resolve those other storylines. Even then, that’s disappointing that he’s not apart of the team and that shouldn’t be his fight to do and more so the team/Legion with how it’s been hyped up.

This just shows this season would have been way better throwing the Light to trash this season and focus on the kryptonians. If they had to include the light let Savage come in at the last 3rd of the season and recruit the scraps after the heroes beat them.

It shows they’ve included too much into this arc.

Heavy, heavy episode, it's on breh!

Saving the time stream, in the words of OG Megatron, is such heroic nonsense :mindblown:
All these secrets between the heroes allowed for for a two team rescue attempt thats seemingly getting in each other's way.

Lor Didn't give a fukk about the time stream and got what he wanted
Dope episode of a GOAT tier series IMO.

And again......poor, poor Kaiser- Thrall
