There ain't much to talk about because nothing really happened in all of 4 episodes. No one ever had a reason to give a shyt about Atlantis, and all they did was run in circles tying up a plot thread that wasn't gonna go anywhere regardless.

Biggest problem with this season has been the pacing from to back. Connor stuck in who knows what with girl who is still nameless talking to himself, beast boy STILL depressed, justice league not actually doing anything on screen, the young justice team itself is all over the place.... like

When this show hits, it hits they legit would rather do anything else at great length though

I’m telling you, I never like the violet character from day one, then you throw in the constant pandering and trying to be all inclusive, they are missing the point of this show and had seasons 3 been the last season before the long layoff, there would not have been much rallying and people demanding it came back. Also beast boy is one of them insufferable characters these shows love to have. They are overdoing it with both of them, like we get the point y’all can relax now.

I liked the Aquaman episodes


I also liked seeing Vandal take a L. The biggest issue with it was the Oceanmaster/Arion reveal. That felt out of left field, but the rest was good. Especially when it had minimal PowerPoint. People wanted the original team and this is it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we find out later that they used the break to update the animation.

Plus I ain’t stressing Atlantan sexual politics, mostly because I been reading Krakoa X-Men comics. If it was too women and a man no one would care about polygamy.

It’s obvious that the writers are padding shyt out to prolong the show as there was no reason why that arc should have 4 episodes as it was time that could have been spent elsewhere. We know Vandal and The Light have been cloning people since season 1, so this arc didn’t really tell us anything different.

Last season ended with Brion and Markovia and we’ve barely heard anything about it since. It’s too many major storylines going on and no sense of direction when and where they will be resolved.

Yeah, I mentioned this at the end of last year. They're doing too much. Too much characters and too much forced "representation".

Season 4 so far has not been cohesive at all. Hopefully, they get back on course and finish the season strong.
