Still animation to tell present day stories now

If that's the route they're going, then they need to trim the episode count so the quality of episodes will improve. They should have just ended the Garfield storyline this episode so we can focus elsewhere.

They really are adapting the trash ass Mary Bromfield/Apokolips story from the comics, but at least they gave a storyline explanation for her heel turn.

The Fate/successor storyline makes no remote sense. If Zatanna was dirty enough to use her proteges in order to take the helmet off her father, then why didn't they just refuse to put the helmet on after making the deal? It's not like Fate could do shyt about it if they did.

Her storyline is taking inspiration from Day of Vengeance and Countdown where she got Black Adam's power and eventually worked on behalf of Darkseid. It's a shytty story in the comics, so hopefully the show can do a better job.

Could’ve of literally cut this season back by 3-4 episodes to get a better animation budget. Take away 2 from Mars (including beast boy depression shyt) if you aren’t gonna do anything with the legion. Then pull one each from Tigress & Zatanna to give Vandal his own episode.

Get the story and pacing down first. This is why manga is crushing American comics 10 times over.

I actually didn't realize it was her until the subtitles gave it away. I'm guessing that they think that she is going to be the key to the Anti-Life equation considering that's where her new powers will come from rather than just magic.

Watch them fukk around and give Rocket a 4 episode story arc of the struggles of being a mother and a superhero as well as that's what her story was alluding to in 3.9

I don’t care for savage but one solid episode dedicated to Savage, the lords/Dr. Fate, and Stranger could done more for the story than what we got. Markovia, Terra, we’re just thrown to wayside as well just fukk season 3. Ball was dropped this season.
