It went from being an action packed super hero show to a soap opera days of our political shyr. YJ Comics during the gap between Season 1 and 2. It’s where a lot of shyt happened like Tula dying (video game) and Queen Bee killing Beast Boy’s mom that they never properly acknowledged or explained what happened on the show.

Not sure if the tie-in comic is still out, but there was one at one point and time. I remember people being furious about the season 2 time skip and having to read the comics to fill in the blanks.

It was a dope story behind it, but the gameplay and graphics was rather trash. They actually tied in the game to season 3 when they revealed that Vandal Savage was Marduk, although they should have done Tula’s death better than they did in actually acknowledging how she died on the show as no one really played that game
