The whole season is giving me Johnathan Hickman's Avenger run vibes.

that's that long term intricate plotting and world building that you don't see outside of eastern animation.

nah, it's just the western mindset. We're barely moving past the point where any animated/sci-fi series/movie doesn't have to have the goofy childish "amusing" jar jar binks character in it.

All the stuff america praises long term mediawise going back to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the east has been churning that stuff out since before AstroBoy.

Comics and video games are semi-mainstream now, but even france still reads more (than wany other country) comics, and prolly always has.

We crying for more and better Star Wars/Game of Thrones/Breaking Bad/Buffy/Angel/Firefly, but if it was animated, America would prolly shun it.

But it's all already out there. And animated. Or drawn.

Cause that stuff is for kids.

Also, who was that kid at the end of episode 13 that sent the text message to Slade/Deathstroke?

brion markov's sister that they had just went on a rescue mission for. She was the one with the earth based powers that was fighting alongside him towards the end.

She was princess of markovia towards the beginning of the season but she got her latent metagene ability activated, then she was abducted...
