The first episode felt like the show never left its great to see growth from the OG characters like Megan finally excepting her white martian look to the group or Aqualad becoming Aquaman.

Steph Brown is Robin 4....the girl in the purple who dipped with Tim and Arrowette....Tim and Steph gonna hook up this season...as it should be.....and my son Static gonna scoop up Wonder girl on the rebound

Just two episodes in and I'm loving it. It's a shame Marvel won't produce a cartoon series like this. Even though I'm not a fan of current X-Men but I would be all for an X animated series with this level of maturity.

I know.. they were always aired in a 1 hour block back to back as if it was 1 full episode though (some times cutting out the opening credits for part 2) but I feel that’s the rhythm that YJ needs.

I love YJ though... it’s the first series that has access to seemingly everyone with no embargos though like I remember JLU couldn’t use Batman villains. I just think every episode would benefit from the hour block vs 3 episodes a week

Only seasons 1 & 2 where 2-parters.. JLU was strictly single episodes with a season long arc.. similar to this.

How can DC use the Milestone characters on the show but not in the comics?

McDuffie's wife put a halt to the Milestone 2.0 project. I think the Static comic that came out during the 52 reboot was the last time we seen any of them.

DC resolved that with her... it happened towards the end the YJ season 2. they were forced to pull the characters from the comics and had to edit Rocket out an episode I believe.. but it got fixed .. at least for this show cause staic was in the end and rocket..
