People keep saying "everyone is armed in Yemen" but I don't see common citizens taking up arms when their relatives get shot at by police during peaceful protests or even when there is open warfare between Houthis and Hadi's regime in the streets of Sanaa or Aden.Basically Yemen is the new Somalia, and instead of Ethiopia/Kenya slavery for Somalia, its Saudi/Irani for them.
Its a country with big clan dynamics, everyone is armed, and you have a north/south divide.
If anything the situation in Yemen should have been worse than in Syria by now?
