Official Yellowjackets Season 1 Thread

This show has really begun to hit its stride these last few episodes. It`s beginning to gain traction, and viewership I hear has been impressively increasing each week as well. And it`s already renewed for a season 2Showtime know they got one with Yellowjackets. If everything is planned out, and they`re not just winging it like Lost did, then we should be in for a treat.

I read the show is not based on a true story, but it loosely follows the real story of the Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571 from 1972. And from the summary`s I heard about that. They may as well just call this show a true (crazy) story. There’s a movie called Alive that was made in 1993 that its based on to.

Alive fukked my up as a kid lol, I was wondering if that maybe inspired this or it was another incident.

Show is soo good. Only thing I noticed when rewatching the first few episodes what that there are 6 of them there at the start. Wonder who the other two survivors will be.

Refuse to believe that Jackie is dead, she's most likely living under another name. Lottie is alive because of her "psychic" shyt. Adam is clearly related to someone involved in the crash. No way this man decides to become fukk buddies with Shuana out of the blue because she's "attractive"

I kinda thought Adam might be Travis’ younger brother maybe? We never got an answer as to why he was at the hotel when Shauna was. Also, rewatching episode 1, the girl who falls into the pit in the opening sequence is wearing Jackie’s chain. I think she might of given it to someone else for them to wear, but I could be making that up.

Never heard of this show until I saw the thread stickied. Boy, this show is ! Was not expecting it to be so good! I caught up with all 7 episodes in a day and a half ( work gave us a week off).

Christina Ricci is killing it! Been a min since I've seen her or Jennifer lewis in anything.

I'm thinking the same. It has to be Travis' brother. He's way too pushy and wants to be involved in Shauna's life for a random hookup. Plus he was obvious he had a thing for her when they were stranged.

I can't wait for the next episode especially since Jackie

finally knows how grimey Shauna has been moving with her man. Can't wait to see the fallout from that. I think that's when they start dividing into groups.

yep they finna bring back every character from the soccer team somehow. Especially how they’re mixing in the supernatural stuff

This joint go hard, casting is really great, it is a mix of the Descent(which is a top 5 horror/thriller), Six Feet Under, and Lost. Soundtrack is menacing with the ethereal female chants...

Seems a little bit CW-ish but i actually kind of like that CW style, and trailers barely do tv shows justice imo so who knows it may be an ok watch. I do doubt it`s on Yellowjackets` level though.

Well in that case Amazon can with this one

Even though i do like the wilderness parts of Yellowjackets most. I still enjoy seeing the future/aftermath, and their current day regular lives. Different scenery, and what not.

New episode just dropped to. Can`t wait to watch later
