It appears I'm in the minority of people who actually liked and was satisfied with what was shown today. Microsoft sold me on the One. Won't purchase day 1 but it will be my console next generation.

I was satisfied as well. They did exactly what they said they would and that's focus on the system amd leave the rest for e3

My unbiased opinion of the Xbox 1,
The voice command is some shyt
but it was something I was already anticipating Microsoft to implement so while it was a predictable feature it is still pretty cool to witness in action, I like the setup for the TV, Music, Movie and Skype

With this being said the problem with this is...
I own a phone that plays music, and that has Skype lets check that off for now...

The convenience of using the voice command to change channels is great seeing
I hate having to exercise my fingers looking for a channel especially if I can't find a remote

As for the games....
Who the fukk are you kidding this system was designed as an TV entertainment cable box, that plays video games as well
Halo the television series I could give 0 fukks about... The system looks as if video games are second hand, no exclusive gameplay
No graphic demonstration...maybe we'll see something at e3

Overall this was weak, but I'm anticipating a better presentation at E3

But I'm also anticipating the ether the PS4rce is gonna deliver as well

All i gotta say is they better give us the steam benefit if they're charging for activating used games. Most likely they will have a Xbox store where we can sell used games at a percentage with friends

Engadget.com has an inside-look-video on the development of the Xbox One, watched it and the following line caught my attention:

"We purposefully did not target the highest end graphics. We targeted it more as a broad entertainment play." (at the 5:43-minute-mark)

finally got around to watching the whole show and the swipe and voice recognition feature is cool and all but i wasnt really impressed with anything. if i have to pay to play borrowed games then that's a huge deal breaker since i borrow games from my cousins and friends a lot. i might have to say goodbye to xbox if they continue to focus on making a media center instead of a gaming console and having bullshyt restrictions.
