You Sony fanboys gone hate but that was a pretty good reveal.
I liked the way they showed off the box and its capabilities. I know people are complaining about time spent talking about games, but in reality we know its gonna play games, we know its a technical leap above the 360, so I'm glad they didn't spend a bunch of times showings games and trailers we've seen plenty of times already. I'm very interested in the new IP from remedy, and Forza at launch was very good news. I understand they want to hold some surprises for e3, but I would have liked to see one more exclusive game to hold me over till then.
Some things that stood out:
Force feedback on the controller triggers. I can see some great things done with this feature in shooters and racing games.
12 exclusive games in 12 months 8 of them new IP's. Although they didn't show the games, I think this bit of info puts to rest the concerns for first part support
Kinect features. NO LAG, I like how they presented the kinect, they didn't show any goofy Jump around shyt. They showed it working in everyday use, things that I would use it for. And the functionality looks great. Now I'd like to see how it will enhance my gameplay experiences.
Quantum break. I loved Allen wake, and I'm very interested to learn more about this title. The trailer was intriguing but I need more
4000000000000000 new servers(don't remeber the exact number) Xbox live will continue to be the premier online service. I hope the statement "keep your account how it is" means we will get all these new features without a price increase. Also the idea of cloud computations for core game experiences sounds exciting I'd like to hear what this means in a practical gameplay sense.
Partnerships with 3rd party's. Looks like Xbox will have exclusive content/experiences with all the most popular multiplats. Exclusive content for call of duty, battlefield, and FIFA puts Xbox at a great advantage over its competitors
Indie gaming. Wasn't mentioned at all, this was the low point for me. I would have liked to hear about indie support
The big surprise for me was NFL. I'm a super fan, I play in multiple fantasy leagues, I buy league pass every year, I like to trash talk with friends. If I could watch a game, keep track of my fantasy scores, talk trash with my friends, and watch a quick show during halftime, all without moving or finding a remote, changing inputs, waiting for things to load, etc. the wife and kids are gonna be jealous every Sunday, cause they will get no attention from me. Personaly this feature is a game winner for me. Hell I'd by a box that could do this one feature alone.
All in all good show. Some surprises, not too much kinect, the TV stuff looks cool, and they raised my anticipation for more game reveals at E3. I would have liked to see more exclusives games, but they can make up for that with an awesome showing at E3
