To be fair, Pete's job is to sell games. MS spent the vast majority of their time talking about DVR/Cable/media features.


PS4 primary purpose is a gaming console...Xbox One wants to do it all (ironic the same shyt that people shytted on the PS3 for is what MS is trying to do now... ).

all that other shyt the xbox does is cool but that shyt useless to me. i don't game in my living room and haven't done so since i lived in a 1 bedroom apartment. i just want to play games and kinect is still not impressive to me. i'm going to get one anyway but all those features that are not gaming related is to me.

shyt will sell gangbusters. They're going for an audience even more casual than that of wii's. We all know them - mofos that only play Madden and 2K. If not for the ps4 I'd prolly be upset

They showed 2 exclusives then pandered to the audience the event was for the media, games will be only shown at e3 like greenberg said this event was a success showing off the difference between them and the competition. I for a fact know 2-3 exclusive ips that will be announced there but will not disclose dont want to get anyone in trouble. E3 will be exciting time gamers expect a lot of heartbreak.

These nikkas saw Sony come out months ago and get the PS4 out there just to show what was up with it. Hell, they didn't even show the console and it was still better than this shyt. Now MS goes and delays and puts off this piece of shyt conference for months AFTER that one and it was underwhelming as shyt.

I could see if they did that to show GAMES since they may not of been ready at the time Sony came out with their news... but the most memorable thing about this conference was their UI. For all the time and wait for this shyt it's a joke how it played out.

Look at the first few pages in this thread. You have nikkas like, "Man I'm expecting some epic shyt, it's been too quiet from MS"... far from it. They should have just waited for E3 if that was the case.

But they did pretty much give the middle finger to the rest of the world. They need to get better in other regions.

At the end of the day they are going after the 'home entertainment' market...but isn't that market far more saturated than the gaming market? What can this thing do that my laptop can't? Why focus on TV shyt so much when that medium is slowly dying anyway?
