I like Dunne a lot. I understand the people concerns that he looks soft. But all that really matters is that he's evil in the mind, and big enough to hurt someone. Some of these young street rapper crews don't look tough either in their face or clothing, but they'd hurt you.
Missed the last match and Neville, the right person one. I wasn't interested in this tournament at all, and thought adding another belt was a bad idea because the roster in general just has too many people. But this was technically better than CWC just because of crowd and that arena was majestic. Color scheme and belt were better. Plus getting it all done in one cold weekend was a good idea.
CWC had three must-watch matches, this had none, but I like my resutls instant

WWE UK Championship Tournament Quarter-Semi-Finals Full write up
Definitely much better than the first night, but still only good at best. WWE outright encouraging and endorsing WE DESERVE IT chants is fukking gross. Tyler Bate has a ton of potential. Dude is so polished and composed at 19 that it's pretty amazing. Hoping to never, ever see Jordan Devlin or Trent Seven ever again in my life. I was really, really distracted that every match had the same lay out of slow opening, big spot on the outside, finisher kick out leading to the real finish. Happened in every match except Neville/End, which wasn't a great showing for End when Neville was outstriking him for most of the match.
Definitely a giant step down from the CWC on every level, and if the plan is to run a weekly UK show with this group of talent, good fukking luck. Impossible to take Dunne seriously as a bad ass when he looks like Roger Klotz trying not to cry/puke and is terrified of 50 year old, retired, post-neck surgery Regal.
