I'm half way through the show and it's not good at all. Bland ass dudes with terrible looks and dull matches. It's amazing that UK wrestling is so hot right now, yet WWE nor World of Sport has any of the top guys to show to the world.

It's pretty meh outside of the main event. The talent available has really hurt this thing. It's almost anti CWC where that thing was faux loaded. It's clear the best guys aren't here. The winner should obviously be Dunn out of this crowd.

WWE UK Championship Tournament Round 1 full write up

TLDR version: Very unimpressive, with Bate/Tucker being the only thing even remotely worth talking about. Bland to bad wrestling, way too many guys who had only been in the game for 2-3 years. WWE should have put guys like Sheamus/Neville/Gallagher in since they apparently couldn't get any of the top names of the scene in the tournament, even someone like ZSJ who they've used before.

It was a neat setting, at least. I think they should put Dunne/Bate in NXT, Mandrews on 205 Live, and pretend this never happened.

But I'm not feeling the wrestlers/wrestling. Always hated UK fan chants. What are they saying?

This is really markish of me, but I wish they'd kept all the non-generic looking guys like T-Bone and British Luke Harper. Even the Pete Dunne's and Trent Seven's have the same goofy haircut, they trying to be each other and shyt.
