Official WWE 2K16 Thread [gamescom gameplay footage]

they're not gonna do a GOTY edition, doesn't make sense to if they make a yearly game.

after this last dlc only thing they're gonna do is patches until they roll the next game out in October.

all the potential people in the game...Shinsuke, Aries, Styles, American Alpha..hopefully we get some new legends. Ditch these WCW ones, i don't care to play with Steven Regal and Finley personally. Get DDP some new damn hair,

no more multiple slots for the same damn wrestlers.

I refuse to believe gaming hasn't developed to where they can't switch the music to accommodate the attire [with some obvious exceptions]

Ditch the WCW legends? That's most of the best wrestlers in the game. If anything get more WCW legends we need Goldberg, Eddie, and The Steiner Brothers. Multiple slots doesn't mean anything its not like its taking slots from anyone else. I actually prefer multiple slots as it gives different renders and stats.

Multiple slots just annoy me, a WCW Steve Austin, ECW Steve Austin, a WWE Steve Austin. ok different moveset/entrance/taunts makes sense for these 3 but theres another 2 Steve Austins from WWE when the only thing that changed was the music and maybe his vest...those should be just alt attires.

Mark Henry in the nation...they gave him the same exact moveset..just different attire and music...

Last gen versions have way faster gameplay and the characters actually look the correct age. PS4 2K16 has 98 Undertaker with the same face as 2015 Undertaker. That's pathetic.

Wii U is already better than Xbox One and just as average as PS4, and I'm not bias since I don't have any of them.

I won't spend the bread on a new console until one of them impresses me. This generation is the worst in gaming history so far, absolutely zero reason to get a PS4 at this point and Xbox One has even less going for it. Waiting to see what the NX does is the smart option. How is that mental gymnastics?

U obviously haven't spent much time with new gen wwe 2k16 because u can change the settings and make it play however u want...but the slower pacing is more realistic and flows better when u get used to it

Unless u into their exclusives like smash brothers and donkey kong Nintendo has nothing going for it. Wwe isnt even on wii u for example

Xbox one is actually the better console at this point it has the same third party support as ps4 with more features and better software and update support...

I guess its a thing of if it bothers you or not. I would rather have multiple slots even if just for the different stats and renders. 5 Austin's is too much, I could see maybe 4 with WCW, ECW, 96, and 97-2003. WM 12 Austin shouldn't have the same ratings as WM 15 Austin. Current Henry should have higher ratings than 98 Henry. Even if they have the same moveset different ratings is enough to justify it in my opinion.

Slower pacing isn't more realistic, not all matches are slow. Maybe all matches these days. Definitely can't make it play however you want. No amount of sliders can make 2K16 play like Here Comes The Pain or Day of Reckoning.

Wii U is a garbage ass system, yet I still see it on the same level as PS4. That's my point, this whole generation is awful. NX will definitely be better as it will have the same games from the handheld and console on both systems. That means console Pokemon, and the third party support on the 3DS isn't that bad. Wii U doesn't have WWE but when was the last good WWE game? Almost ten years ago.

Xbox One doesn't even get any fighting games other than Killer Instinct. Street Fighter, Blazblue, Guilty Gear, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Uncharted, all on PS4 but not Xbox One. Xbox One doesn't have exclusives like that.

And i never really got into uncharted that came with my ps3

Yeah breh I think i'm more happy about the new arenas then I am the new wrestlers...Not gonna lie though, I am pretty excited about Harlem Heat being in there. Hope they put their WCW theme in too instead of just Booker's WWE theme
