I dont have any interest in MyCareer any more. Any one else feeling that way?

Progression is just too slow, feels like im treading water waiting for something other than backstage interviews to happen.

I'm the same way. I won the championship at Summerslam and my interest is gone. Feuds are so predictable. Plus I don't like how none of the other titles change hands unless you're going for them. The Prime Time Players have been tag champs for two years in MyCareer mode and R-Truth has been US champ for over a year since they stripped me of the title when I started going after the World title. Since I've had the game I've only been playing career mode and occasional regular matches but now I'm going to start My Universe full time.

just had a great back n forth between cm punk and eddie guerrero.

i picked eddie, Punk dominated the match at the start. As the match went on he hit me with a gts, i kicked out. did the 3 amigos and missed the frog splash. some more back n forth. i go for the frog splash again, he reverses it into a catching gts i barely kick out [got a this is awesome chant for that]. he kicked out of the gory bomb, got out of the lasso from el paso. he does his signature move, i kick out of that. when i finally connect with the frog splash he kicked out.

ended the match with a quick pin, figure he'd just dodge another frog splash or i get hit with a gts that puts me out for good.

I go back n forth on whether or not to up the damage on finishers so i won't have to 2 or 3 to finish them off, but the heightened drama makes it more interesting.

Yeah My Career needs some major tweaks. Its getting there. Just needs more depth.

Universe is what keeps this game going for me. So many different possibilities for shows and brands. You get tired of playing one way? Start over, customize, and fantasize all over again.

And then when new DLC superstars become available and that other showcase mode drops, it will peak it up a bit.

The barebones of the mode are where they need to be. Now the extra fluff like storylines need to be filled out.

Only reason I can't get too much into Universe is that the wrestlers don't organically progress or regress in stats, also unlike other sports games there's no generated new wrestlers that get added in and old wrestlers don't retire.

That was one thing I liked about the Mdikkie series of wrestling games

I started playing just My Career until Fallout 4 came out. I think I'll give Universe a try when my guy gets the IC Belt. I agree, shyt gets boring when some random decides to confront you at your entrance, you/they interfere and your feud ends only for the cycle to continue.

True, its more of a DIY fantasy mode.

Works for me but I can see why some might not latch on to it.

Yep, But it's actually better to play with your friends or by yourself. The problem with WWE games is that at some point the people online will spam and have finishers as regular moves.
